Just not my favourite. Not the worst romance I've read but not the best. Not a lot of smut in this series and I just wasn't really feeling a lot of sexual tension. It all ends with the same HEA that every romance has so if you like that this might be for you. Oh there is a very dark topic in this book. It happened in the past and is only spoken about but it could be a concern for some readers.

I liked the covers and wanted to love these ones because I loved Still Beating; however, this duology wasn't for me. The first book needed to be faster, and then this one left out what I liked from the first book. It was a good duology, just different from what I expected.
