The story occasionally drags and can sometimes be repetitive, but Don Quixote and Sancho Panza are fantastic characters full of life. The second book elevates it from classic to masterpiece with a fantastic ending, but it could definitely be a slog sometimes

It didn't need to be this long.

I did enjoy this in the beginning especially. The description of women got a bit weary. Sancho and his proverbs were my favorite.
