This was a lovely sequel to one of my favorite books of all time, Blade of Secrets. Ziva is such a relatable character. Her anxiety is portrayed almost perfectly. Bonus points for such a good portrayal happening in a fantasy book. Kellyn is as dreamy as ever, and Temra and Petrik have a unique storyline in that they seem to have a story that the reader gets only glimpses of. Although I took a nearly 6 month break in the middle of reading this (what’s wrong with me???), this was a great book!
