A short and positive reimagining of the Two Sisters folktale and also a clapback to everyone who commented on the grammar and word usage in 'This is How You Lose the Time War'.

It’s trying so hard to be quirky and interesting that it’s a miss for me. I can deal with a lot of lyrical nonsense when I read but when it becomes a hindrance to the story you are telling, I’m out.

It’s a novella. So, mercifully short. Maybe the audiobook is better. Unsure.

If you want a lyrical queer fairytale about the love of sisterhood, the beauty of music, & the magic of grammar: read this novella.

I loved this story of two sisters who love each other so deeply. The Arcadian Rin was so beautifully rendered I could see them in my imagination. Indeed the whole story was vividly written.

10 million stars. This short book is the most beautiful story I’ve ever read. @hayley as a linguistics gal if you see this you will love this book and how it uses the language of language. Wow. The pictures in it too are so beautiful, it all just feels like a work of art
