Not gonna lie, I've started this book just because I've missed Lola and the Millionaires but didn't wanted to re-read so soon. So it was kinda impossible not to compare both stories, and not be just a bit disappointed at how much better I've found Lola's book.
I think this book is nice, but it lacks something. I guess there wasn't enough plot for me to really care about, and since smut is not enough for me to want to read a book, it kinda fell flat. I think the characters were nice, Baby was kinda funny and bubbly and all the guys have their own personalities. I really just wish the plot points were more interesting for me.

3.5 stars.

I’m a whore what can I say?

In all seriousness this was actually a pretty good book, a really fun read and one I was surprised I enjoyed as much as I did. I loved all the male love interests and they rarely, if ever, pissed me off which is a feat in general but especially when it comes to omegaverse fiction. The author did a great job at making me feel a special connection to each of the men and I came to love them all dearly in their own ways. This book would have been a 4 star read if not for how the major event of the book played out, I won’t spoil anything but I just felt like it was so incredibly rushed that I feel like I blinked and it was over. Also one of the characters has a villain arc that, again, felt rushed and underdeveloped even though I feel he had the potential to be a great villain.

Omegaverse smut with little to no plot which made the book drag on forever.

The FMC gave major Pick Me vibes and the fact that her legal name was "Baby" added an extra layer of cringe.

This was my first Omegaverse book and I gotta say, I am not sold on Omegaverse after reading it. As someone who really, genuinely, truly needs to see chemistry and spark and emotional connection between characters before they have sex, a book in which the sex is not only fast (and copious) but *paramount*, even ahead of emotional connection, was not 100% for me. Despite the many, many, many sex scenes in this book, I struggled to get behind any degree of romanticism that may have been implied there. That’s just a me thing.

Early on, maybe the first 40% of the book or so, was a struggle for me, but this may have been more because of the motorcycle club aspect. I have a lot to say about the fact that men don’t typically have “appropriate” cultural and social spaces to develop and rely on emotional intimacy among each other, so I appreciate the concept of a motorcycle club for that reason. But the hyper-masculine posturing early in the book was really obnoxious.

However, by the end, I really loved, like, all of the characters. Baby’s relationship with each of her alphas (plus her beta, the wonderful Seth) was incredibly sweet as they grew closer. There were some I would have liked to see a lot more of - Mackenzie and Tornado come to mind immediately - but overall I felt it was pretty well balanced for a RH book featuring six love interests.

The real star of this show though was Baby. I absolutely adored her from the first page. She was smart, sharp, loving, a little bossy (but not in a bratty way), and funny. And also a total and complete badass! Like holy crap! She is so cool!

I probably won’t read more books in this series unless they come highly recommended, and again, Omegaverse is probably not for me, but this one only got more enjoyable as it went along.

This was a fun read, hella smutty. I really just enjoyed how light this all was despite being omegaverse tbh. Loved all the characters, especially Baby, Green, and Bullet. Another positive was how the pack was set up, I really liked that not every member of the pack was involved and how we had a beta in the relationship who didn't play second fiddle to Baby. Also, speaking of other members of the pack, something that really endeared me to Baby was how she treated other female characters. There wasn't any slut shaming or jealousy of any kind. Not that it was necessary considering but still. Bonus points for the end scene and how
Baby was able to rescue herself and Emmy
. That part was for sure one of, if not my favorite part of the book lol.

However, despite all those positives, there were a couple things that kept this from being a full 4 stars or higher. The first was Jonah and how stubborn he was. Like oh my God, I got that he had some bad experiences but man. Another thing was that I'm just not a huge MC romance person so I didn't really care for anything related to that. Also really minor issue but oh my god the names. I wish the usage was more consistent instead of changing from chapter to chapter. Like at one point a nickname was used, then the real name, then the nickname, all within a couple paragraphs. Like I managed to remember them by the end but it was not easy lmao.
