Asher, the male lead, hasn’t forgotten his one night stand with Jenna, the female lead, but she’d already left and he couldn’t find her. When he’s placed up as the eligible man of the month by the town’s matchmaker, Jenna finds him to inform him that she’s pregnant. He wants her and the baby but he needs to convince her that he’s far more trustworthy than her father was…

This short story is dual POV, and an interesting and engaging contemporary, mountain man, accidental pregnancy romance. I enjoyed Asher’s commitment and adjustments to make space for Jenna in his life. I found Jenna a bit trigger happy I enjoyed the secondary character integration and the found family feel.

I love these short, sweet books. They are a nice break from longer reads but this one is shorter than others. Asher and Jenna are cute together. Looking forward to reading Mack's book.
