When 17 year old Holly Bettany is murdered it is up to DI Tom Janssen and newly arrived DCI Tamara Greave to investigate with their team.
An entertaining and well-written modern mystery. A good start to the series.

It was okay. Formulaic and not especially well written, but okay.
Though please, for the love of all the dark gods, if you're going to use the word 'focused' multiple times per chapter, at least learn how to spell it properly!

Didn't enjoy the writing style, characters felt really bland

I enjoyed the story somewhat, but I couldn’t rate it highly because the grammar and punctuation was so rough. I had to re-read many sentences to work out what they meant!

the premise of this book was interesting, however i think i may have went in with too high of expectations. i liked the main detective and i wish the book was only from his perspective so i could learn a bit more about him. the third person pov really threw me off and i kept having to reread certain bits which resulted in me taking forever to finish this book. the setting was cool, but the descriptions of the daily weather were a bit much.
