3.5 stars. The cover of this book is much better than the contents within. I enjoyed that it was a quick read, and experimental prose can be fun, but overall I do not think I will be thinking about this book much after reading it.
It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t as good as the cover.

Super good, but also deeply unsettling in a way that made me kind of glad I don’t have a sister.

Reading this story like a never discovered before Shirley Jackson book meets a more modern piece of media like 13 Reasons Why. Though it took me a few days to really get into the story, once the first plot twist unfolds... I couldn't put it down. The ending left me truly speechless, I'm still a little bit stunned. Gorgeous writing, creepy premise. Wow.

rollercoaster of emotions. story of two sisters, unidentifiably intertwined, blurring lines between one mind and two. left me with questions and wanting more

If you like a sloooow burn with a predictable twist, this one's for you. I enjoyed Daisy Johnson's prose, but it was so hard for me to care about the story because it dragged on. At around page 40, I figured it out and if you read lots of books, you'll figure it out too.
A study about mental health and grief, but in the end, it wasn't for me.
