This little novel was a fun and quick read. I liked the format of a story within a story within a story. The ending was fun but fell a little flat for me. Definitely felt European in language and vibes :)

Da vari narratori inaffidabili, la storia di come si incontrano diavoli, e si diventa.
Perché il bello di questo libro è proprio che non sapremo mai se il pastore fosse un pazzo, un eroe, o un diavolo creato dalla sua stessa gente e dalla parola, come lui stesso andava in giro ad avvertire (oh l’ironia della sottilissima differenza di lavoro che svolgono pastori e demoni nell’impastare le nostre anime).
Una piccola novella, riuscita, che ti lascia con un senso di inquietudine, un’irrazionale incubo verso le volpi e con la sicurezza che questa non è l’ennesima carta sprecata.
