Suspenseful and intense 5th story in the Attack on Titan series!
A big courtroom decision has been made to place Eren in the Survey Corps, with a particular group of people whom are tasked with killing Eren if he goes crazy again in his Titan form. A girl in this group is a scientist; she has captured two Titans, doing research on them, and attempting to communicate with them, as a previous soldier once tried to long ago.
Later on, a large army of the Survey Corps heads out to travel to Eren’s old home outside the wall, planning to discover the secrets that Eren’s father hid there, that can reveal the origin of the Titans, and how to stop them all for good. To do this, the army uses a horse riding, flare firing strategy to confuse, and take out as many Titans as possible. However, a new intelligent Titan has arrived, bringing along a few more! Said to be a female Titan, one Survey Corps soldier suspects another human may be controlling this female Titan from within, just like Eren can. Or could this intelligent Titan be one all on her own, having made a plan of her own to strike back at the humans? To be continued in Volume 6…
