The large scale art pieces throughout the book are dynamic and beautiful. The story was fairly easy to follow, but felt disjointed and a bit rushed.

Juliette is as lovely and lilting as it is, quite simply, a read that grabs you and sets you down in the living room of this mosaic-ish family. Graphic novels set in small towns, that explore family and its tender/bickering duality are my favorite kind. They're practically aglow with charm, here Jourdy's watercoloured pages really bring the town to life. Often found myself hugging it to my chest because it was too sweet to bear. Will definitely be reading it again and again.
