Got a little weird for a bit, but it all sorted itself out. Basically, another fun book to read. :)

The conclusion of the Twilight Saga will have you scratching your head and wondering how Stephenie Meyer could fit so many myths and legends into one of the best series I have ever read. Like the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end," and I'm sad to see the ending of this beautifully written and compelling series. While the entire series is written from Bella's point-of-view, Breaking Dawn offers the chance to see someone else's side of Bella's story. There are dangers and surprises lurking around every corner and just when you think you have it figured out, you're wrong. You never know what will happen as Bella is faced with the choice of life or death.

Favorite Quotes from the book: "I am truely sorry for the pain this has caused you, Jacob. Though you hate me, I must admit that I don't feel the same way about you. I think of you as a... a brother in many ways. A comrade in arms, at the very least." ~ Edward Cullen (page 341, chapter 17)

"It was sort of the pattern to my life - I'd never been strong enough to deal with the things outside my control, to attack the enemies or outrun them. To avoid the pain. Always human and weak, the only thing I'd ever been able to do was keep going. Endure. Survive." ~ Bella Cullen (page 374, chapter 19)

I enjoyed this series far more than I expected, and the last book was good. It had some definite twists I didn't expect. I loved Jacob's chapter headings -- they were hysterical.

Omg! She finally did it! We got a STORY! Forget 1, 2 and 3 and just read 4. Ask anyone that has read the first 3 to give you a brief synopsis and then go for it! This was what we had all been waiting for. I wouldn't say this will stay around as an affectionately remembered classic until the year dot but it does stand more chance of doing so than it's predecessors. I loved the development of Bella's character - she finally came to life! (Oh but had to die first!) I think some of the scenarios seemed a little far-fetched and once or twice a touch un-believable but on the whole this got an extra star from me than the other three for the simple fact I celebrated sticking with it and finally finishing what should have been a maximum of 3 books!

I was gone on vacation when the book came out so I did not get the chance to read it right when I came out! I spent about a week, between work and classes, reading this! The ending was amazing! The book as a whole was amazing!! Nothing I had expected!! I am in love with these books!! If you get a chance to read the Twilight series... READ IT!!!! I promise you that you will be sucked into the story and into each of the characters!

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERSThis installment of the Twilight Saga was very annoying to me. The way she presented the story through Bella's and Jacob's eyes did not work. Why have a section where Jacob tells the story when the previous three novels are narrated by Bella. Also Jacob's voice is inconsistent. Sometimes he narrates as Jacob but other times it seems like Bella is narrating. I had to remind myself that I was reading Jacob's words not hers.Meyer also takes forever building up to the conflict. She spends 300 pages building and building and the conflict lasts for 30 pages if that. The ending is also too happy (SPOILER) the Volturi should have lost their power or something. The book just worked out too perfectly in the end. I guess that's what you get with a book that's marketed to tweens. The story was good it just could have been better.

Meh. That about sums up my opinion of this book (and series, for that matter). Bella is absolutely obnoxious, and the dynamics between the characters are just wrong.
