Ok so honestly this movie was pretty spot on believe it or not…. But I did very much enjoy the story I felt it was well told and never felt like it was dragging on at all….
I will say I do not like hearing about what the intestines of giant sea creatures are like but other wise solid story time.

So dumb but so fun. Alten is no literary genius but his books are always entertaining. Can he find any other way to describe things that isn’t “grapefruit” or “pineapple” sizes?!

I was so frustrated with Terry Tanaka. She was like a pouting child for the first quarter of the book. I was expecting something different. It was OK. I probably won't read the next one.
Reviewing this for what it is is. Outlandishly a fun time where giant shark eats lot of faces. Is it a masterpiece.... no did I have a fun time.... yes very much so. This was really fun and a great break from fantasy books.

Absolutely love the book cover for this. This book is easily 5 ⭐️. It has action, love, betrayal, amazing writing and you are sucked into the world of megalodons existing. You want the humans to win, but you want the giant prehistoric shark to win as well. I absolutely love the movie (have watched it over 5 times) and while the book and the movie are different, I still love and recommend both!

I actually can’t remember much of what happened, oops. Well it’s a silly shark book with one note characters and a predicable plot line. Its saving grace is that it’s kinda fun and the action isn’t bad.
Probably wouldn’t recommend to most people.
