Mat Osman's mastery of emotive avian descriptions and his in depth knowledge of London during the Elizabethan era elevates this book. He skillfully weaves lexis of the era with compelling prose. With twists and turns this book will keep you captivated. Would love to see more of the Aviscultans in another book.

Very different from anythung I've read recently. Enjoyable and good world building
