This wasn’t “bad” just really unnecessary. It’s basically a repeat of Obsidian from Daemon’s POV. Like EXACT same conversations and activities, but different perspective. It could have been condensed or added something new.. but it didn’t.

Sebenarnya Oblivion adalah Obsidian versi Daemon POV saja. Jadi secara storyline sama saja dengan Obsidian. Tapi kalau penasaran sama apa sih yang ada di pikiran Daemon mengenai Katy. Boleh dibilang ini dibaca buat fans garis kerasnya Daemon Black, our book boyfriend.
Seperti kita tahu, awal pertemuan Daemon dan Katy benar-benar buruk. Daemon memperlakukan Katy dengan segala kebrengsekannya. Berusaha menghindar dari Katy, dan menjauhkannya dari Dee, namun kalau sudah takdir berbicara lain maka semua langkah menjauh tidak ada gunanya.
Kalau di Obsidian sudah jatuh cinta sama Daemon, maka di Oblivion rasa cintanya bakal berlipat-lipat deh, LOL. Bagaimana penggambarannya mengenai Katy saja sudah memperlihatkan dia gak bakal bisa melupakan Katy begitu saja. The sexual tension is way too much.
Sekadar info saja, kalau sudah baca Obsidian, bisa melewatkan buku ini, karena isinya 80% sama kok. Seperti aku bilang diatas, buku ini buat fans garis keras Daemon Black, it means kayak aku.

Although, it took a month, I love this book! It was action-packed, intense, and fast-paced. It was a really cool book. I love Katy, she is similar to me when it comes to books. However, she is fierce, confident, and badass. The type of heroine I love.
However, my favourite character is Daemon. He is an Luxen and Katy's enemy-turned-boyfriend. He is protective, arrogant, and smart. He is also funny. Daemon and Katy have amazing chemistry. Especially in the first book and most of the second one, she is denying her feelings for him.
The books are amazing in their original form. However, I think Daemon's POV adds depth to his character and the original books. Also, I just love the fact that arrogant, snarky Daemon got his own book. Overall, an incredible retelling of the first three books of the Lux series.

Oh Daemon, I fell in love with you the moment you opened the door when Katy knocked. Your version of events just made me love you more.
Perfect. After more than an year after finishing the series from Kat's POV, I seriously needed re-read and this was just perfect. Especially the first book, not having as much angst as if seen through Kat's eyes.
Besides, everything better with Daemon. I had almost forgotten how epic of a character Armentrout had made him to be. He just jumps out of the paper. If only wasn't only a figure of speech (fanning).
Anyway, a total must for Lux series' fans!

OMG, FINALLY!!!!!!!! I can't believe it took me so long to finish this book! I think it was due to already knowing the story and that's what made me feel.... bored. I was familiar with what was going to happen and I delayed finishing it. The lenght didn't help either. I think it would have been better if JLA just left these three books only in Katy's POV. This book was intertaining, but unnecessary.

Nie często spotykam książki z punktu widzenia mężczyzny, więc było to dla mnie cos nowego i bardzo mi się podobało. Aż szkoda, że reszta części Daemona nie jest przetłumaczona na polski. Chyba będę musiała poszukać angielskich części.

Repetitive. I wish when authors did this it really brought more to the story. Could have just been a few added chapters to the OG first book and gotten the same info. Ended up skipping a lot of the exact same conversations.
Thank god that's over. This book was so unnecessary and I was so bored cause it was just rehashing everything that already happened. Also, I didn't realize how much this story reminds me of Twilight. I'm not a big fan of this series of Jennifer L. Armentrout.
