The only reason I didn't give it a one star was because the beginning was pretty good. I was actually getting into it. Who end a book like that??? The ending was way too abrupt. The author could've made the book a bit longer and finished the damn story

A short story about a one night stand in Christmas that sounds like it is about to turn into something serious but it does not because it ends abruptly. Two main characters and a long erotic scene with little everything else. Not recommended.

Here’s what this book is about:”Noel travels the world for work, only coming home for the holiday season. With so little time spent in one place, relationships are a no-go.
Dean, a firefighter with a serious disdain for the holiday season, is sent to Mistletoe, a small town that lives and breathes Christmas. To keep his holiday exposure to a minimum, Dean avoids relationships from November through January. Will two people who are so adamant about being single be able to ignore the feelings that are heating up their Christmas season?”
I enjoyed reading this book. It’s cute and sweet.

When Noel’s garage catches on fire she finds herself with a new acquaintance. There were a lot of cliches in this one that made it a bit cringeworthy. Noel as a name for a christmas novella character, her “fiery-read hair ” and his being a firefighter. It has a decent storyline and it was one I think could have benefitted from more pages, because 6 chapters didn’t quite get there. Especially since it ends shortly after they finally get together, so it wasn’t a very fulfilling book. But it’s a decent short story to pick up around this time of year.
