i liked the setting. i liked the idea. just not the execution.
the characters kinda fell flat to me. everything was very predictable. i honestly just stuck with this book because i decided i don't like it halfway but i was already so far. and the monologue fet like a bitlife monologue most of the times.

This book was...okay. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be but it was funny in parts. I didn't like the fact that the footnotes were at the end of the chapter as by the time I get to them I don't remember what they were speaking to.

The ending was better than the beginning. But, overall just ok.

I feel like I would have enjoyed this book more if I was a bit younger, like 11-15 years old. However, it was hilarious at times, and I actually laughed out loud while reading.

This book could have been pulled from the pages of my high school diary. Very relatable for any over thinking gal.

"My problem is I can think whatever I think—girl power, solidarity, Gloria Steinem rah rah rah—but I still feel the way I feel. Which is jealous. And pissy about little things." Cute and funny! Definitely a fun listen.

It's like a warm blanket. One of my favorite YA books since middle school.

This book was really good. I enjoyed it so much, I am dying to go get the second one in the series. Ruby shows what it is really like to be a girl her age.
