Crystal has always been the failure in her family with no Savant power and disappointing grades, especially compared to her sister who has just found her Soulfinder Trace Benedict, but when disaster hits both Crystal and Xav, the annoying Benedict, have to join together to save their loved ones and maybe discover how they feel about each other. While Seeking Crystal is just as good as the others the romance in this book is not as captivating as the others however it makes up for it with the story as it is more fascinating. I would recommend this to people who like Finding Sky and Stealing Phoenix.

How I missed the Benedict's Brothers, and I thought after reading "finding sky", that Zed was perfect, well Xav is even more swoon worhty, and I really didn't think that was possible.

In Seeking Crystal, we meet Crystal Brooks a savant girl who doesn't have any savant gift, but to find things, and I really laughed out loud when her sister called her to know where her niece has left her toy, so she doesn't really feel like part of the family, and when traveling through America with her sister Diamond, she meet the Benedict's, and her sister find her soulmate, Trace, the oldest brother who works for the police, at the same time Xav appears in the picture, and he's such a player, so funny, and Crystal just doesn't like him.

After going back to Venice, and feelling even more lost, know that her sister won't be with her anymore, Crystal starts working as a custome designer, and that mut be the coolest job ever, with all the masks and everything.

Xav just won't give up on Crystal with all his charm and wit, we see their story develop in such a sweet way, first becoming friends and then a little more than that, but what about their soulmates? Well you have to read to understand, and you won't be disappointed. The book is full of twists, sarcastis comments, action, and swoon worthy moments, the story really got me hooked, this is certainly one of my favorites, and once I started reading I just couldn't put it down.

The amount of love I have for this book... I’ve read it at least twenty times by now and yet, every time I finish it, I want to start all over again. By far my favourite of the series, and I don’t think I’ll ever get enough.

At the beginning of the book, we are introduced to two of the main characters, sisters Crystal and Diamond, who are away on a business trip. At the very beginning of the book Diamond finds her soulmate, Trace, or her 'soulfinder' as they are known in this series. The two sisters meet the rest of Trace's family, and Crystal develops an instant dislike to Xav, one of the other Benedict brothers.
Crystal, unlike other savants, doesn't have an 'amazing' talent, as she sees it, she is actually quite ordinary. She's also tall and lanky, with an unusual look about her. One thing I dislike about this book is how much Crystal herself goes on about this, constantly feeling sorry for herself. I also dislike how much she pushes Xav away to begin with.
Diamond and Trace want to be married as soon as possible, and through this and her general actions, we see how patronising she can be towards Crystal. Hm. I don't know if it's just me, or the length of time I waited before reading the second two books, but I'm not liking them as much as I did Finding Sky.
Crystal has gone back to her home in Rome and gotten herself a job as a costume maker- one thing in the book which does appeal to me; designing and making traditional Venetian costume masks etc, which adds to the fantasy feel of the book.

Now we're beginning to see Xav and Crystal's relationship develop, and the storyline is getting a bit more interesting. Towards the second half of the book, the story really picks up and you really don't know which way it's going to go, so it keeps you wanting to read on.
A good sequel to the other Benedict books.

Crystal Brook is literally me (except for the telepathic thing, saddly). The sister thing, the family thing... every single thing about her relates to me. I saw my own life through Crystal's and I loved it.

And Xavier... oh boy. My sweet and smartass boy. I truly wish he was my other half.

Ok one of the best books out of the series so far. Enjoyed the plot and the characters much more. Crystal is deffo one of my fav girls so far I just don’t know if I like the fact that her sister also has a soul finder from the same family I dunno but weird for me. Also I didn’t like that the author kinda shoved two soul finder stories into one but I get how the other wouldn’t work without the other.
