Victoria Aveline did it again! I’m not sure how she manages to make every one of these so different and engaging, but she’s done a stellar job. The slowest burn with the best payoff, enemies to lovers, political intrigue…this book has everything I wanted and several things I didn’t know I wanted until I read this (he’s got a tail?! 👀👀). So, so excellent.

Another great addition to the series! This story was definitely more angsty and broody than the others which I loved. It was also the slowest burn out of all of them so far. Even though each book follows a similar formula, all of the couples and their stories are unique enough that its doesn’t have that copy/paste feel like other similar series have (looking at you IBP). Can’t wait to see who’s next!
