I really enjoyed the reversal of status here with the older man as the boy and the younger as the master.

Guess you cant expect much due to the length, but i did expect more bdsm. It's just a brief fantasy story. Not much to it. Not bad exactly, the writing was okay, but the plot seemed forced and uninteresting to me. I didn't find it engaging at all. Possibly would have been more interesting if there was more story development. It's kind of like a condensed version of "pretty woman". There's a d/s relationship but it doesn't really give you much of that either, the biggest part of the story is really the rich guy fantasy. The character loses his rich husband, has a really bad year or so, then finds another rich guy and then viola true love. I found it pretty boring.

What drew me to this was the 'savior' aspect, Mitchell riding in to save Owen from himself and taking care of him in the process. I am a sucker for some hurt/comfort. That being said, there wasn't enough on-page development of the characters' feelings for each other for my liking.

Pros: young Dom x older Sub is cool and the relationship is really based into open dialogue and trust

Cons: the tone is so bizarre it's start so dark with sex work, physical assault and suicide intentions but it just goes directly into sweet fairy tail happy after ever in 20 pages...And the last page just throw the light tone out the window and goes all the way into rape attempt followed by physical assault inside a club?

Sweetness :)

Owen is very immature for his mid-to-late forties, but somehow it's OK, with him coming out of a certain D/S relationship that lasted for almost half of his life.

Normally this set-up wouldn't work for me, but - surprise! - 4 stars :)
