I love, love this author's writing! Her characters spoke to my heart.
Sawyer is a young woman who was sent to prison because of an accident. For eight years she paid for her choices and when she comes out, her world as she once knew it has already changed.
Silas is the president of The Dixie Wardens MC. He is older and mature with an already big family, but essentially he is alone. When he meets Sawyer everything changes. What seems like an instant attraction will become much more when these two get closer.
I won't mention how much chemistry our couple had! Wow. Silas managed to captivate this much younger woman and even though he is well over fifty, you never once care about their age difference.
He is an amazing hero and a trully adorable man.
The story had a lot of action and mystery as well. The plot was well thought and developed properly. Every little detail is well rounded and I simply loved how the story unfolded.
Perfect start to the new year! Do not miss this fantastic book.

This book was awesome, seriously SO good!
Everyone who has read this series knows Silas hasn't always been such a great guy, so I was curious how this author was going to get me on board for a HEA with him. I shouldn't have worried, because not only did she get me on board, she made me fall in love with Silas...
Did he cheat on his wife, yes, but he had a pretty good reason IMO. Being undercover for the CIA he did a lot of things to keep the people he cared about safe. I'm sure some will say that's just an excuse, and there isn't ever a reason to cheat. Normally I would be first in line with that thought, but the author does such a good job in this book of making Silas a hero worthy of a HEA, that his past didn't bother me for a second!
The relationship that forms between him and Sawyer, was just so sweet, sexy, and frigging HOT! Also, for anyone wondering, he had more of a friendship with Sawyer's mother, then a relationship. It's not even an issue with anyone in the book, and I never felt any off feelings about the situation.
I simply LOVED this whole stinking book! It made me cry, and smile...GO READ THIS BOOK! ;)
