I love this book so much because I disagree with so much of it. It allows for such interesting debates about whether Utopia could ever possibly exist. The writing flows so nicely and I love the almost 'story-within-a-story' layout.
similar to machiavelli, christian ideal renaissance world
Was reading it for college but it was so boring I'm so sorry Mr more
A satirical work declaring that if Plato and Marx could just shake hands under a Christian banner, the world would be perfect.

Hard to review a pillar of English thought and literature š Thomas More knew how to write and itās fascinating to hear his āvoiceā coming down through the ages.

3.5 stars. It was not what I expected, but still quite good. It was quite heavy and detailed in the description of Utopia- I felt as though it would have been better to add in varying dialogue to keep the pace moving quicker (it definitely took me a long time to read this book!)
I enjoyed what the author proposed in Utopia, but it would have been better to hear rebuttals. This book just felt like the first teamās side of a debate of what Utopia would look like, and then no follow up from the other team.
Note to self: I read this book solely using a physical book.

It was a good book donāt get me wrong. But for me it was just a fun little world building book. I took some good ideas out of it but nothing blew me away.
