Utopia: where everyone is equal, except women and slaves.
I much preferred Aldous Huxley's take on this.

A rather unique read. As others have said, it's pretty interesting to see this man from so long ago speak about such things that are still relevant even today.
I didn't find it particularly difficult to follow in terms of wordiness or vocabulary.

This was a surprisingly easy read, given the year it was written, but I think that might be because of the translation- my friend also read it and thought it was very wordy but she has a different edition. Some of More's ideas initially sounded very sensible and relevant even for today's audience, however, as it went on it got more and more ridiculous. For me, it peaked when the importance of religious toleration is emphasised, shortly before the claim that any who don't believe in an afterlife forfeit their right to consideration as a human being. I know this wasn't More's purpose, but it literally made me laugh out loud on several occasions.
