Inder read it, which made me curious. This was a helpful book for me to read. I think I sort of expected Yancey to blather on about how we're all saved, which doesn't seem at all novel to me (though for some I guess it is). So I was surprised at how challenging I found it. The book is much more about living as agents of grace than basking in our forgiven state.

I’ve never read a book by Philip Yancey that didn’t have me contemplating the subject for weeks after.

Been reading through this one for a while...going through with study guide with a friend. GOOD STUFF.

I read this years ago while working on my Masters in Christian Education. It is a transformative work. I may need to pick it up again.

Too textbook like. Gave up after 30 pages

An interesting look at Grace and its affects on how you live your life. I suppose I found it inspiring in terms of being able to learn forgiveness, and acceptance. I think it is easy to say you are a person who forgives and accepts others - different when faced with situations where you must back up your words.

Very good. Definitely need to read again because I probably read it too quickly lol
