Sweet & Sexy Omegaverse

YES!!!!! This is what I want from Omegaverse novels. These Alphas treated Baby like a QUEEN! Yessssss!!! This was also my first non-shifter or alien omegaverse! I'm already looking forward to Lola!

Honestly I forgot about the very slight plot this book had until the climax of the story with the other MC because the rest is just smut. Still a good time though 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
Unlike many omegaverse stories, these alphas aren't rich, famous, and powerful. They're normal people. One loving found family. And they need to find their way through the challenges of life that come their way. The pack and Baby. Together. Because without money, fame, or power, the one sure thing they'll always have to rely on is each other.

This is an erotic romance between one female and multiple male love interests. There's also some MM action. Hence, it's heavy on the erotica. Despite that, the story does a good job of blending in plot and everyone's characterization; there's a character glossary in the back of the book, which was a handy reference.

I was really wary of reading this, it has a lot of hype and I was concerned it wouldn’t live up to that hype.

I was right.

Firstly, what the heck is with naming the FMC Baby? That’s not a name, it’s not even a tolerable nickname, especially now I’ve read every possible variation of it repeatedly.

Secondly, this was so freaking boring. The writing is good but nothing happens. I found myself skimming the smut because it was so long and predictable and fell flat.

The FMC is a doormat, and yeah omegas can be but this was excessive. Her ‘best friend’ is awful. She says nothing about one of the alphas she’s interested in hooking up with a beta sweet butt. She says nothing about there not being an actual nest.

I’ve seen this book recommended for first time non-shifter omegaverse readers but the OV build isn’t explained in the story. Which is probably why there’s a fair few reviews asking why the animals weren’t mentioned or why no one shifts.

If you want fluffy smut with very little plot or story then you might like this. If not then I recommend skipping this book.

Very mid for me.  Lola was much better imo.

Kathryn Moon is my current hyper fixation. She can do no wrong. Her female main characters are so strong and fierce and likeable, and she writes exceptional fictional men. Far better than real ones.

Yet another fun and entertaining read. Wolf smut without the wolves.

cute!! read this after reading lola and the millionaires so it was nice to get the background info i missed before. def preferred lola and her boys over this book though, and even found the spicy scenes to be pretty monotonous. i started losing track of who was who in those scenes bc aside from bomber, there was nothing super unique to separate the men. overall not bad and i’ll probably read eve’s book next to finish out this ov

this book has so many characters that i made actual honest to god notes, which i had to reference several times, in order to keep track (only to find out at the end that there was a character index the whole time)
