Not much going on but I believe it was great for me given this is the first omegaverse I've ever read. Took a long time to get used to the new lingo but I enjoyed it !!! Can't believe it took me so long to get into this sub genre

I went on a freaking omegaverse binge after this book, and this one was just like the tipping point. I loved Baby and the crossover with the MC group. It was like these two tropes that I've been obsessing over finally merged into one book, and it all worked for me. I know this book won't be for everyone, but it ticked all my boxes, and I couldn't read it fast enough!
I had no clue this was the start of a series, either. Lola from Lola and her Millionaires is Baby's best friend and is quite a bit in this one. I've been seeing that omegaverse gets recommended a lot for people who want to get into omegaverse, so of course, I had to read that one next.
This one had a big cast, so it was confusing at times to remember who was who because there was a huge cast, and they didn't all call each other by their first name or even their last names. Some call them by their club names, while others call that same person by either their last or first name. Then they all want Baby to call them a certain name. It was just chaos. But I loved Baby, and the twists and turns in this one were just wild! So it's one of my favorite omegaverse books. I'm really curious how the rest of this series plays out since it is kind of big.

I was very underwhelmed reading this. It felt choppy and uninteresting for a lot of it. The characters were difficult to connect to and there were SO many of them. Definitely disappointed. But there was a lot of story here and there were a few characters that I really liked.

Heat Level: Scorching
Erotica: multiple graphic sex scenes; some threesomes, anal sex, oral sex, knotting

This is my second book by this author and it's another RH (reverse harem) book. Erotica with heart. This had a bit of a thriller aspect to it plot-wise. I loved the main character and this world is so interesting. It's more an alternate universe as opposed to fantasy. There are no supernatural creatures; just humans who have designations of alpha, beta, or omega. The writing was good. The book has a range of emotions and I cared about the characters rather quickly.

Wow, I loved this book! I actually read Lola's books first (I thought each book in this series worked as standalones, which they kind of did) and I just hadn't gotten around to reading Baby's book because I wasn't really in the mood to read a book about an omega MC. But I finally was and I'm so glad I did get to it, because it was great!

The book is definitely primarily an erotic romance. The story mostly centres around the romantic relationships and how they develop, with a little bit of plot to keep it chugging along and add some tension. That's not a complaint at all, as long as the romance and plot are well written I love that type of book, and this one totally ticked all of the boxes for me. Taking it for what it is, it was a brilliant read.

The romance was incredible. Each of the characters were unique and we had time to get to know them individually. There was heaps of sweet moments mixed in with just the right amount of angst, and the pacing was handled well. Also, the spicy scenes were hot as fuck. I love how there is so much sex in the book but it never gets repetitive because there is so much variety in the pacing, intensity and the acts that the characters participate in. Every scene feels like it's adding something new instead of just the "get horny, bare minimum foreplay, fuck hard, rinse, repeat" format that so many RH books fall into. In terms of romance, this series is probably one of my favourite RH series ever (based on the books I've read so far, at least).

I loved that there were also heaps of members of the pack with platonic relationships with Baby. That's uncommon to see and added some interesting dymamics.

While the world building was pretty minimal, I thought what was there was really good. We learn about the alpha/beta/omega dynamics and rules in a really natural way most of the time.

I think the scene where Bullet's bike gets trashed would have had more of an emotional impact if we'd gotten to experience more of the guys' love and passion for their bikes before it happened, but that was my only real constructive criticism of the book.

I can't wait to read more from this series!

I keep hearing about Lola & the Millionaires, the second in this Sweetverse series, but thought I’d read this one first and I have no idea what happens with Lola, but it seems like this is the book everyone should be talking about! Baby was awesome (banishing any preconceived notions I had about her name), managing connections and being so emotionally intuitive with different people, busting up traditional pack hierarchy (she had a fit they were going to throw the beta girls out because since most omegas don’t want them encroaching on their space… and started to form friendships with them too — an extra scene or two with them would have been even better since their time together with just the girls was so great) and saving the day.

This was my first omegaverse book and I’m still not sure full-blown omegaverse is for me, but I think I’m hooked on the sweet version! I’d usually think 6 guys is too many guys, but each was very distinct and it was easy to fall in love with all of them. There was still a plot enough to make it so intriguing, but also pretty much a fuckfest. A very hot one at that. I’ve never said that word before, but it’s the first thing that came to mind and pretty much describes the book. A huge part of why I enjoyed this was also a complete lack of jealousy amongst the alphas and no embarrassment whatsoever around sex or desire. It’s probably a big draw of any reverse harem romance, but there was zero shame whatsoever and as silly an idea as this book might seem, that’s pretty revolutionary.

It was also pretty unique to have CWs pointing to a particular chapter and an option to read a summary of that chapter if you wanted to skip it. I read the summary once I got to that point and a lot happens in that chapter so I ended up reading it, but it’s nice to have that option.

The first chapter confused me a little bit (a little less so on the second and third reads, but still confused) because it seems that Baby is going to a bar with her friend, Lola (of Lola & the Millionaires), to pick up a beta, but while there her omega “identity” comes in and she starts perfuming. (Still confused about whether she knew she was an omega before getting to the bar, but it seems like not since she says it’s bad timing to be at a pack bar around a bunch of alphas.) And then Lola leaves her to go hook up with someone (knowing what’s happening), using Baby’s scent to help her pick up an alpha? And apparently Baby needs protection (she’s lucky to have a beta willing to help her get out) and to be taken to a centre to have guidance/be separated from the alphas? If so, why again did Lola leave her? I’m still confused about that and why we love her for the next book (after that night Lola then takes Baby’s sweatshirt even though it could get them in trouble because she wants to use it to pick up alphas), but we shall see.
