Wow, I loved this book! I actually read Lola's books first (I thought each book in this series worked as standalones, which they kind of did) and I just hadn't gotten around to reading Baby's book because I wasn't really in the mood to read a book about an omega MC. But I finally was and I'm so glad I did get to it, because it was great!

The book is definitely primarily an erotic romance. The story mostly centres around the romantic relationships and how they develop, with a little bit of plot to keep it chugging along and add some tension. That's not a complaint at all, as long as the romance and plot are well written I love that type of book, and this one totally ticked all of the boxes for me. Taking it for what it is, it was a brilliant read.

The romance was incredible. Each of the characters were unique and we had time to get to know them individually. There was heaps of sweet moments mixed in with just the right amount of angst, and the pacing was handled well. Also, the spicy scenes were hot as fuck. I love how there is so much sex in the book but it never gets repetitive because there is so much variety in the pacing, intensity and the acts that the characters participate in. Every scene feels like it's adding something new instead of just the "get horny, bare minimum foreplay, fuck hard, rinse, repeat" format that so many RH books fall into. In terms of romance, this series is probably one of my favourite RH series ever (based on the books I've read so far, at least).

I loved that there were also heaps of members of the pack with platonic relationships with Baby. That's uncommon to see and added some interesting dymamics.

While the world building was pretty minimal, I thought what was there was really good. We learn about the alpha/beta/omega dynamics and rules in a really natural way most of the time.

I think the scene where Bullet's bike gets trashed would have had more of an emotional impact if we'd gotten to experience more of the guys' love and passion for their bikes before it happened, but that was my only real constructive criticism of the book.

I can't wait to read more from this series!

This was my first omegaverse! I highly recommend looking up a youtube video on omegaverse first. The author does an ok job explaining but i like visual learning. 3/5 spice. This has group scenes, couple scenes, and light kink. I'm a hard spice judge I grew up on Wattpad. lol. Love the characters but struggled with names and nicknames so I had a list on my phone so I wouldn't mix up the guys. I plan on buying a physical copy!
