This is my second book by this author and it's another RH (reverse harem) book. Erotica with heart. This had a bit of a thriller aspect to it plot-wise. I loved the main character and this world is so interesting. It's more an alternate universe as opposed to fantasy. There are no supernatural creatures; just humans who have designations of alpha, beta, or omega. The writing was good. The book has a range of emotions and I cared about the characters rather quickly.

This was my first omegaverse book and I’m still not sure full-blown omegaverse is for me, but I think I’m hooked on the sweet version! I’d usually think 6 guys is too many guys, but each was very distinct and it was easy to fall in love with all of them. There was still a plot enough to make it so intriguing, but also pretty much a fuckfest. A very hot one at that. I’ve never said that word before, but it’s the first thing that came to mind and pretty much describes the book. A huge part of why I enjoyed this was also a complete lack of jealousy amongst the alphas and no embarrassment whatsoever around sex or desire. It’s probably a big draw of any reverse harem romance, but there was zero shame whatsoever and as silly an idea as this book might seem, that’s pretty revolutionary.
It was also pretty unique to have CWs pointing to a particular chapter and an option to read a summary of that chapter if you wanted to skip it. I read the summary once I got to that point and a lot happens in that chapter so I ended up reading it, but it’s nice to have that option.
The first chapter confused me a little bit (a little less so on the second and third reads, but still confused) because it seems that Baby is going to a bar with her friend, Lola (of Lola & the Millionaires), to pick up a beta, but while there her omega “identity” comes in and she starts perfuming. (Still confused about whether she knew she was an omega before getting to the bar, but it seems like not since she says it’s bad timing to be at a pack bar around a bunch of alphas.) And then Lola leaves her to go hook up with someone (knowing what’s happening), using Baby’s scent to help her pick up an alpha? And apparently Baby needs protection (she’s lucky to have a beta willing to help her get out) and to be taken to a centre to have guidance/be separated from the alphas? If so, why again did Lola leave her? I’m still confused about that and why we love her for the next book (after that night Lola then takes Baby’s sweatshirt even though it could get them in trouble because she wants to use it to pick up alphas), but we shall see.
