Better than I thought it was going to be. I love books like this where the main conflict is outside the pack/relationship.

I went on a freaking omegaverse binge after this book, and this one was just like the tipping point. I loved Baby and the crossover with the MC group. It was like these two tropes that I've been obsessing over finally merged into one book, and it all worked for me. I know this book won't be for everyone, but it ticked all my boxes, and I couldn't read it fast enough!
I had no clue this was the start of a series, either. Lola from Lola and her Millionaires is Baby's best friend and is quite a bit in this one. I've been seeing that omegaverse gets recommended a lot for people who want to get into omegaverse, so of course, I had to read that one next.
This one had a big cast, so it was confusing at times to remember who was who because there was a huge cast, and they didn't all call each other by their first name or even their last names. Some call them by their club names, while others call that same person by either their last or first name. Then they all want Baby to call them a certain name. It was just chaos. But I loved Baby, and the twists and turns in this one were just wild! So it's one of my favorite omegaverse books. I'm really curious how the rest of this series plays out since it is kind of big.

Not for me. This was my first time reading an Omegaverse book, and I didn't really enjoy it. I had heard a lot of people recommending this book, so I thought I would try it out. I had briefly looked up Omegaverse dynamics, but I would have liked the author to explain things a little more. The dynamics just didn't do it for me with them supposed to be humans, not shifters. I prefer paranormal or monster romances. I also don't like biker gang romances.

I could have overlooked those things if I had felt any connection to the characters, but I didn't. There were too many guys and not enough time spent with any of them.

The main things that made me not want to keep reading were 1) the after effects of Baby's first time knotting. I was as confused as Baby about her feelings, and I didn't like how that all went down. I like more warm fuzzy feelings after what should be a steamy but emotional scene. 2) The scene that happened toward the end of Chapter 20 was off-putting and triggering for me. I appreciated the warning at the beginning of the book for Chapter 39, but there was no mention of other scenes that might be triggering. Granted the scene is brief and the male does stop, but I felt blind sided by it. I just didn't feel the need to continue reading after that.
