I think I haven't read enough graphic novels / comics, to feel the need for a reinvention of the art style and story telling Oliver East apparently does in this book. To me, it felt almost impossible to follow, both the art and the text, which is done in one of the worst handwriting I've seen in my life.
I would've also appreciated some indication of what the book is actually about: a reflection on his wife's really difficult labor, and the premature birth of his son. The blurb's "East takes a lovely walk admiring nature and architecture" doesn't really put you in the right mindset to read this book, I feel like.
