This was really sweet.
I thought the quick relationship worked because of the slightly shared history and the shared connections. I also really loved Ali coming into her own and bringing her kids along for it, all for the best.

3.5/5 - I enjoyed this book, however, it was too similar to Nora Goes Off Script, which I read fairly recently. Both books were about a divorced mother in her late 30’s with multiple kids and a trash ex husband, who ends up meeting and falling in love with a single man with no kids. Had I not read her previous book, I probably would’ve rated it higher.
