The characters are interesting and the storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat. Ian Malcolm continues to be my favorite character (in the books and the movies).

Crichton included more of his scientific background in this sequel. It was an enjoyable read with more realistic children characters. Each character had some depth and realism, but they weren't as different as the first book. On its own, the book was interesting, kept me reading. There was something charming missing though, not as classic. Still a fun read and would read again.

It is far better as a movie. Far better as multiple movies.

It’s very outdated theory wise and assumes total ignorance of dinosaurs, even something like the human case climate or species die out seems off.

Probably for the time it’s better, but given what we know no, even lay people. It’s a bit basic. And far to technical on other parts, that have no consequence. I guess the author wants you to figure it out but it still ridiculously long.

The ending was too rushed. I’m not certain how Sara got to the boat.

FYI the ending is also now out of date, there are no longer wires for all of this stuff, just seemed silly that there would be cave system to get the to the boat house but not a safety shelter for the staff...

This book's star was Sarah Harding, and I love it for that!

Efter ”Urtidsparken” dök jag på denna. Japp vem kunde motstå?! Den höll samma höga klass som bok ett, mer behövs inte sägas.

If it weren’t for Jurassic Park setting the bar so high, this would be a no-brainer 5 star. Instead, I find myself wishing I could give it 4.5 stars, as it didn’t quite have the same level of wonder that Jurassic Park did. Still, great philosophy, great action, fun tech and a far better story than the second movie. Makes me wish Crichton was still around to keep making beautiful stuff like this for us.

Legitimately not as good as the first and a lot more boring.
