My only complaint is that, compared to previous volumes, the story blows by way too quickly.

After That Yellow Bastard, Family Values is a step down in dramatic tension and ambivalence. The team of Dwight and Miho go after bad guys. Fun, hilarious at parts but not as dark and original as the previous stories.

Having read all but one of the Sin City graphic novels, this one is definitely my favorite. I enjoyed Dwight's previous stories and it was fun to see much more of Miho in this one. She's one of the only female characters in the entire series whose power doesn't depend on her body and isn't naked 99% of the time. I don't consider myself that much of a prude but the fact that all the women are naked all the time and only have power through sex got old really, really fast. You get to see Miho with her trademark deadliness and I loved getting to see the girls of Old Town get revenge for one of their own. Definitely one I'd recommend!

In comparison to the others in the series, this one felt like it was a little lacking. However, it still was an excellent read and I truly enjoyed reading about an aspect of Sin City that didn't make it into the film. This installment features Dwight and Miho going after the truth about a recent hit in Sin City. They don't reveal either the plan or why they are looking for the information until the end and the plot is extremely satisfying. As a fan of both of the main characters, I was quite pleased with how this turned out and I have plans to finish some of the other installments soon.

My favorite yarn of Sin City so far.
