At first, I was confused -- was this a memoir or a lay-person's book on neuro-science.
It was essentially both, but ultimately I really enjoyed it listening to her journey and her 4-minute recommendations to improve your brain and life. I'd recommend it.

Half memoir (predominantly about dating and exercise) and half neuroscience overview. Author is very adamant everyone needs exercise and meditation to improve quality of life.

This book can't decide if it is a memoir of single life in NYC or a neuroscience textbook.
I rarely abandon books but I gave this one up at 49% and can't recommend it, but do find interviews with Suzuki interesting and informative.

I listened to the audiobook and loved it!
There is some great scientific information paired with personal reflection.

An excellent read. I loved the combination of science with the great authenticity of the author's narration of her trip to a higher emotional and physical wellbeing. This makes it informative, enjoyable and genuine at the same time.
