Fate always has other plans

This was a good second installment. I'm glad Sienna powers are coming through. Infant wait to find out exactly what she is. Dominick is a great General and romantic lead. He cares for Sienna and she cares for him. Can't wait for the third book.

Pure filler. Anything mildly eventful occurred too suddenly without any build up and was over in a page.

Hunted By Fate - The Alpha Territories #2 - Review

Couple: Sienna & Dominic

Author: Shannon Mayer

Tropes: Slow burn romance, “Who did this”, Miscommunication, Vampire, age gap, Alpha male , Feisty heroine, The Heir vs The Spare, Deadly competition, Hidden ability/identity

Review: Welcome back to the territories! This book picks up right where we ended book 1 and the TENSION IS HAWT!! Book two delves more into the roles the Duchess played with the old Shifter King and Edmund’s childhood.

As this book develops, we begin to learn just how vile Edmund truly is and how he has corrupted so much of the territories in an effort to maintain power. We also begin to understand just how different Sienna is compared to vampires, shifters and humans. This book finally shows us the reunion between her and her lost brother, which we waited anxiously for but upon meeting again…she learns her plans may need to change.

WE also begin to see just how much Dominic has fallen for Sienna and how deep his devotion for her goes. I could not get enough of the tension, chemistry and bond between these two in this book and am excited to see what comes of their feelings.

The main conflict outside of Edmund’s reign of terror in this book is Sienna’s “humanness” and how conflicted she is about her and with Dominic. However, without giving spoilers….parts of this book make you wonder if there is a much bigger plot at play with Sienna and if she is truly human.

The book ends on a cliffhanger and we see Sienna struggle with how she feels for Dominic once again after events are put in place that shatter her world. We also see how sad Dom is for hurting her inadvertently with the war with Edmund.

Look for the final review coming up next!

Rating:8/10, DOMINIC!!
