This is the definition of space opera. I appreciated the range of perspectives in this book so much more than the last one. Darrow stopped making stupid decisions. I absolutely loved seeing his moral struggle for being at war. Mustang’s perspective was even more interesting. I think this is the first time I was able to see the extent of her genius.

The political drama was crazy. Lysander was a whiny bitch but more interesting things started to happen around him. Seeing ephraim and the obsidian power struggle was also so interesting. So. Much. Happened. I can’t put words to how wild the plot was.
