It's finally time for Fee to go to the Underworld and meet Lilith as the wedding is approaching, however someone doesn't want Conah and Kiera to marry and will do everything in their power to start the war. Fee doesn't know whom to trust and what to do, and when one of her friends dies she needs to step up her game.

I've been reading this series all day long, and I don't think I can stop until I get to the last book.

There is enough in this book to keep a fan squealing from page one to that final, brutal cliffhanger.... and yes, there IS a cliffhanger, and it hurts. But it's also one of those that will bring the previous drama into the fore and MAKE it be addressed next, so that's good. I won't spoil it for you, but I WILL say that this Loup thing needs to be handled....

Alright, but to the main portion of the text. Wow. Just wow. There is a point in ALL Debbie Cassidy books where the multiple plot lines start to coalesce and merge, creating the full picture, that up to that point, might have seemed murky. Such is the case here. We've got Lilith in one corner, the Loups in another, Cora at the ready, a wedding in the making, a war on the horizon, prophecies to navigate, missing items, curses, vampires, over worked Reapers... it's enough to boggle the readers mind - and it's all coming together and starting to make sense. There is still much more to work through, and the final romantic dynamic is not clear, but pieces are moving and the action is picking up.

Oh, and Az? *SQUEE*.... that is my particular fan girl moment. He is not in this installment much, but when he is? Hot dang.... he's worth the cameo. Yum.

*I received an ARC of this book and am thrilled to share my honest opinion*

So the major death was obvious from early on. And Fee is constantly thinking about sex with almost every male she meets. I keep thinking it will be revealed she part succubus or something because it’s just weird. And the author is pushing hard for polyamory. I’ve been seeing it coming and I know that it’s not for me so I find it just unrealistic because each character acts like they’ve never felt whatever Fee makes them feel. Like she’s a succubus with special sex powers or something. It’s just weird that she comes into every male’s life and makes him go nuts like she’s the only one in the world. And Vi and Kiara have disturbingly similar conversations with Fee about the hold she has on their men. It’s just too much. It’s like reading 12 romance novels in one. Also I get sick of the men all keeping her in the dark on stuff and trying to decide things for her. And the mythology is too complex. The terms and the backstories are so complicated that I feel like I need a Masters degree to follow it.

All of those complaints aside, she does a good job building the characters and makes it interesting enough that I’d like to see how it ends. Also I hope the next book is the last. I’d like some resolution.

ooohhmmm group of men

Is there really only one more book to tie up all these loose ends?

I do enjoy the guessing game(ish) of who Fee's men will end up being.
Mal is just gah
Azazel and that ENTRANCE
Conan oh Conah *heavy siiigghhh*
Grayson you deserve a freaking hug
Hunter... ooohh I want to kick ...

Dreads + mouths + tulpas + witches + lilith + Keon the blade + what's nexttt

best book in the series thus far. i’m rushing this review so i can get to the next boom because it ended on a horrific cliffhanger. i’m so fucking scared right now.
this book really cemented how much i love fee as a main character. such a badass. but also i love how complex her emotions are and i like seeing her deal with them. especially when it came to the kiara and conah situatuon.
rip kiara you were a real one.

mal and azazel had me kicking my legs in the air like a school girl this book.
