I loved this grumpy sunshine romance! I wished it had a longer epilogue because the characters were so lovable. This was a pretty short book and I craved more.

Such a cute, sweet story! Grumpy/Sunshine is one of my favorite romance tropes.

This is my first Kate Clayborn book, and I love her writing style. I’m excited to dive I to more of her books.
I can related to Georgie a lot. The feeling of not having your life figured out, of not knowing what you want in life. It was a heartwarming read, I loved this book.
And Levi

There was just something missing from this. I really liked Georgie and Levi as individual characters and their personal developments. They were grappling with real identity shifts as they outgrew their young adults selves and tried to settle into what they each think it meant to be a Real Adult. Or at least they consider what they need to face from their respective pasts to do so. All that was compelling. I just didn’t buy into the romance on the book’s timeline. The town itself and all of the side characters felt like Schitt’s Creek the way everyone knows each others business. I feel like this could have been stronger if it was general fiction/slice of life story. Loved Georgie’s dad’s nicknames for her. Didn’t love the audiobook narration I might have enjoyed it more if I read a physical copy.

Such a fun and cute read! Kept me wanting to read more to learn what was to unfold for Georgie as time passed.
