This is a DNF for me. I only made it 65 pages but it’s so wordy, so boring, and it’s not catching my attention at all.

Very cute, quick read. It was less soul-searching than I expected but good nonetheless. I loved the characters and found myself smiling as I read. I could see this as a feel-good Netflix romcom.

Sometimes it’s so nice to read about a character that doesn’t have it all figured out (it’s the same reason I often watch reality TV). But I really loved that this book’s characters were unapologetically themselves, however messy, raw, and real that might make them.

This is a good book that evenly combines the romance and individual character developments. While I feel that the reasoning behind doing things from the "friend fic" aspect was a little underdeveloped, I still enjoyed the story.

I didn’t love this I don’t know if I’m struggling with romances at the moment or what. But I just didn’t feel this at all really or what I was enjoying was the minimal interactions between them and then from that point I lost interest

it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. this is the type of book that has so much potential, but unfortunately falls a bit flat. i found it difficult to get into the story at the beginning, but it did start to pick up when the mmc’s POV is introduced. although i felt that the MMCs were lacking chemistry, i did love levi’s story of growth. and his dog!

i will say that if i read this book last year at the beginning of my reading adventures, i probably would have given it a much higher rating. i’ve just read too many well-written books that, unfortunately, this story fails to measure up to.
