Bob Dylan playing Henry Miller at Ping-Pong.

Interesting. Wish for more details as to why Dylan turned so sour on Baez. Seemed like a large detail in their relationship and the reasoning behind it is largely glossed over.

Provided a lot of context about the 1960s folk scene.

I hated this book. Richard Farina hagiography, a real hatchet job on Dylan, and a sour look at the scene.

The writing style was engaging enough that I was able to forget that, with the exception of one Joan Baez song, I don't really care about any of these people.

Interesting story about the beginnings of the folk music era, and how these four goofy kids changed music history. The more I read about Dylan, the more I resolve to just listen to his music instead. Engaging story, well written and insightful.
