Really informative read. Appreciated the illustrations and that it wasn't stuffed too much with filler. I also liked how the author listed a lot of specific manifestations of anxiety and how you can use the DARE method to approach them. It was not only practical advice, but helped me realize that some of my personal anxieties are actually pretty normal to experience. Kind of validating to read!

The tone of the book is definitely more of a "call to action", and less comforting or gentle. It touches a lot on the physical effects you experience, but with the assumption that you don't actually have some kind of medical condition that could also be the trigger. So I'd keep that in mind when suggesting this book to others.

i started listening to this book bc i was having health anxiety but it turns out i have a legitimate health problem so all that suggests to me is that i was right

Read this book if you have anxiety!
