It has been an extremely long time since I read a YA novel. Better than the Movies was a fun one to jump back into the genre with. It gave me all the classic rom com feels, even if the "comedy" part was a bit lacking... the romance made up for it. I loved all the references to the all time great rom com movies and how our MC, Liz, was so obsessed with them. I also appreciated that although of course there were some silly parts of the plot, there were some very realistic moments Liz found herself in. This one was sweet and swoony and I need it to be a movie ASAP.

i love this book so much, definitely a new favorite. it made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. i didn't want it to end but i just couldn't put it down. liz is so me (she reads, loves romcoms, and is a swiftie). liz listening to taylor is so perfect because what hopeless romantic doesn't? also she is so real for saying that the 2005 version of pride and prejudice is the best version of the movie. wes had me giggling and kicking my feet. i was listening "don't delete the kisses" when liz and wes had their first kiss and it was so perfect <3

4.25/5 *CUTENESS OVERLOAD* I didn't expect I would love it this much. This book made me so happy! I'm kind of stressed because of the change of environment, it's the perfect easy read for the current mood.

Cute romance novel it’s very sweet and deals with both stupid teen andar which is fun as well as tackles grief in a wonderful way. Very cute plot with very likable main characters and the main character and love interest are perfect for each other

It was a super cute and fun book. Liz kind of annoyed me for a little bit, but hey, she’s a teenager so I guess it makes sense for her to be so clueless and to kind of act like a brat sometimes. Other than that, enjoyed it
