It’s around a 3.5 for me. A bit of a slow start to trudge through, but it got more interesting about 40% of the way in. I was surprised by the big reveal at the end, but I knew that something was coming and I typically don’t read trying to solve the case. I just let the story drag me along cluelessly. That said. The last few chapters were VERY repetitive in and of themselves. By the last chapter I was like: “ok we get it. Is this over yet?”

To me, this book was phenomenal, I think it's so far the best book I've read that has been released this year. I have recommended it to everyone who likes this genre of books and I want to read all the authors other books as well! I was hooked from the start, I find this topic really interesting already which I think helped make this book 5*s for me.

I messaged a friend 30% in guessing who the killer was and what had happened. It's predictable but not terrible 🤷♀️. Kept me occupied so im not mad at it
