I am an eternal B Sands stan, but this wasn't really it for me. I liked the format of the special edition I have, and the concept is sound. But some of the themes didn't quite land.

The amnesia felt like a convenience rather than a driving plot point.  A cute story. Feels more like an amateur fan fic than a fully developed novel.

This was such a fun time. My favourite thing was definitely the artwork and the actual guidebook   The plot was somewhat predictable to me in the “ah yes this is a familiar story and I feel at home” vibe which was exactly what I needed right now. I can tell the author allowed himself to have fun writing this which made it all the more enjoyable to read!
