The emotional struggles and her being more aware of how handicapped people are treated in public is worthy of 5 stars! Yet, for some reason the drama of family and work associates wasn't enough we already have a woman wanting him to herself and a guy trying to break them up as well? Way too much extra that takes away from the story instead of adding to it. There are so many issues those other romantic interests could have been doled out more patiently through the work.

I enjoyed the second one in this series but it lacked a story to me. It seemed like they wanted the story to continue so they were grasping at threads. I did enjoy the little bit of story it had and I will be reading the rest of them. The love story is really cute though!

This much tear jerking and we’re only on Vol2.

Will there even be any tears left to cry by the time I finish?

I felt a little let down by this second book. It was a thoughtful story and I love that it has disability rep, but it seemed to me like every woman was in a caregiving role and only disability rep was men in wheelchairs. Even the very side characters like the house they build for a man in a wheelchair has a woman caregiver. I had hoped for wider gender representation of both caregivers and disabled people. Otherwise a thoughtful story of a relationship with usual problems of miscommunication.

Tsugumi's parents are not that great. I know their trying to watch out for her but, all the ableism in this (Japan is not a very disable friendly country).
Tirgger Warnings: Ableism, medical content, medical trauma, panic attack, and injuries
