Out of the three books in Hudson Valley, this is my favorite. I swooned over the couple and the bickering is top tier! The conflict was a little annoying but I'm still sold okay?

Clara Morgan is like a fairy godmother to old hotels. Her expertise to rebrand these hotels and make them better. Growing up in multiple foster families drives her to become a work horse and she's passionate at what she does. It's inspiring and on the other hand, she never had serious relationships. Her mindset was like there's nothing permanent and she fears of being abandoned.

When she's tasked to rebuild the Bryant Mountain House, she meets the grumpy Archie Bryant. He's the next heir to manage the hotel and his father hired Clara to rebuild it. They have different visions when it comes to the hotel. Archie wants to maintain the traditional style while Clara wants to innovate the modern style to encourage tourists. They exchange arguments that ignites the sexual tension between them and it was HOT.

Archie is quite hesitant because he's a widower when his high school sweetheart passed away from a terminal illness. Clara doesn't want to engage herself in a relationship if she's just the second best woman for him. The push and pull between them sparked even more and I'm just in love when one of them gave in. It was heartwarming. He just became my favorite. He got the BUNS. ;)

Overall, this is an amazing conclusion to the series. Alice Clayton still got the charms on writing romantic comedies. I love it.
