I don't even know what to rate this. You have one margarita too many a dinner and you somehow find yourself reading I Married a Lizardman until 3:30 in the morning. I'd seen this recommended a couple of times as a good MOC, and once you get past the initial absurdity, it's not half bad. The writing is actually some of the better I've found on Kindle Unlimited.  It doesn't get any fluffier than this. I don't know what it says about me and my reading choices, but I kept waiting for something bad to happen - Olix gets hurt on the hunting trip, Olix and Susan have such a big misunderstanding they want to dissolve the married/Susan tries to leave, Susan doesn't do well at the first market sale, Susan does well at the market sale but then gets robbed and loses all the clan's money, Susan's planting sheds are burned down/equipment vandalized, the Conglomerate imprisons Olix, Zoltar tries to take over leadership of the clan/harasses Susan, something. There's not even a question of if they'll continue with the union after the 6 month mark. Literally nothing bad happens the whole book. There's not even an 80% conflict. I kind of got bored. I guess this answers the question of if it's possible to have too happy of an ending. Like I'm glad all of their plans worked out, but it felt like Olix and Susan's relationship got lost towards the end. But if I said there was a zero percent chance I'd read another book in the series, I'd be lying.
