I loved it for a third time. The narrator is fantastic! This might be my favorite book ever.

I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, this didn't work for me. The split time line kept taking me out of the story - I'm not a fan of this in general, but here especially it felt jarring. Maybe the chapters were too short and we were going back and forth too quickly for my taste. The story itself was promising, but I was getting bored a lot while reading, feeling as if things were happening but leading nowhere, and all it was doing was constantly reinforcing the fact that Ethan is an assassin and Jack needs to process.

Good, so good. I loved the suspense part of the story, fast-paced, and the romance part.
It is not smut with a dash of suspense. It is more the other way around, which is nice. Exactly what the doctor ordered.

Loved this!

This was highly entertaining. I loved that I didn't know when the next betrayal would happen lol.
These two men have great chemistry, bith in and outside the bedroom.
And even though it's a slow burn which I HATE if not done right, I was thoroughly invested and haooy with their relationship..

Also, I love Ethan. That is all.

It's not a bad book I just found it kind of boring, especially towards the end.
Half the story was being told in the presented and half was one year before and unfortunately I'm really not a fan of flashback chapters in general.
I have to say one thing that started to annoy me after a point was the continuous repetition of their names. I don't if it was all in my head but it felt like Jack's name appeared 5 times in each line.
