A nice little anthology with some fears that are pretty relatable. Enjoyable illustrations.

'The Creeps' by Fran Krause is the second volume of the Deep Dark Fears collection and brings more creepy/funny comics about the irrational fears that plague us.
From fears of actually being an animal hooked up to a human simulator to not wanting to dangle a hand over the bed, this collection is funny in a way that I can relate to. Fears are only irrational if they aren't the ones you have. When you can look at them in a collection like this, you can see that they can appear silly, and you can be comforted that you may not be alone.
The art is funny, and at times gruesome. The contributors are all thanked at the end. I liked this second collection of Deep Dark Fears.
I received a review copy of this ebook from Ten Speed Press and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

Some of these were funny, some of these were regular old creepy and some were down right horrifying - please be aware that there were a few really sad fears in here and it hit unexpectedly.

Fran Krause's followup to "Deep Dark Fears" (originally a comic blog on Tumblr) is as charmingly creepy as the original. Krause's artwork is appealing and easy to interpret, and the fears depicted in "The Creeps" are a delightful mix of the truly terrifying and the mildly mundane. This is an excellent comic collection, and can be recommended to fans of "Deep Dark Fears," more sarcastic fans of "Sara's Scribbles," and self-aware readers who have a strong appreciate for visual art and visceral discomfort.

I think I liked this collection better than the first one! I love all the goofy (and sometimes totally understandable) fears people have. A few of these comics are definitely spookier looking than those in the first book.
