I love the Lumberjanes. The series is unique and funny with heart. This isn't my favorite volume though. I preferred the art at the beginning of the series and this plot took a bit for me to get into. Ripley is my favorite little chaos gremlin.
Lumberjanes is a comic series that is basically like being given a bowl of macaroni and cheese, curled up on a comfortable couch with a warm blanket next to a crackling fire while it rains outside, which is to say, just LOVELY.

When trying to help the group set up camp for the night, Jen the counselor gets separated from the girls when a blizzard hits and is followed by the appearance of more mythical creatures. Luckily she gets saved by a woman who has a hobby for hunting mythical creatures. From there we learn som very interesting backstory on the Lumberjanes as well as the forest they are currently residing in.
Definitely a fun and adventure filled volume. I enjoyed all the fun back and forth er get from this series and in this volume, we learn more about Jo. The last page of this volume gave us some really interesting information on the camp and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
